Welcome to the Criminals Athletics page. We are a 5A school and are very proud of the outstanding athletes we have here at Yuma High School. We are grateful for the support we receive from our enthusiastic parents and community, and it is because of such outstanding support that we are fortunate to be able to offer our students many different sports. We encourage all students to participate. Whether you're on one of our great teams, have a child playing sports at YHS, or are participating by watching us in the stands, we are glad to have you! Be sure to stay on top of all that's going on by checking the athletic schedules below. Game schedules are subject to change, please call the Athletic Office for verification of times and locations at (928) 502-5036. Cristal Ramirez SponsorshipsYuma High Athletics is looking for a few good sponsors. Below are listed different areas in which you can help. We are open to ideas and working with sponsors to make this a win-win situation. Wall - The North end of Yuma High’s main athletic field is surrounded by a decorative block wall which has insets of 2 ½ by 6 foot built in for advertising. We can produce your company logo on a sign displayed for all sports seasons. The initial cost is $500 with a renewal fee of $300 for years to follow. Officials - Pay for the officials for a single game or a series of games. The series would be for Home and Away contests, for example, Yuma/Kofa Football - the series would be for Varsity, JV, and Freshman games. Doing a series of games would get your name out on both campuses. Official Fees vary from sport to sport, so the total sponsorship would have to be figured per sport. Feel free to set up booths, banners, etc… we will make PA announcements per your request. Fireworks - We set off fireworks for Varsity Football games when the team comes out and sometimes after the game. Minimum cost per game for fireworks is $500 per game. PA announcements, banners, etc. will be in place to get your name out there. Teacher Appreciation Nights - Each Varsity sport hosts a Teacher Appreciation Night in which the Varsity athletes choose their favorite teacher and invite them to a specific Home game. During halftime of this event, the teachers compete in a fun activity. The winners receive your donation, (gift cards, discounts, free services, etc.). Feel free to set up booths, banners, etc… we will make PA announcements per your request. Straight Donation - we’ll take a straight donation as well and use it as needed through the year. All Sports Pass- $80.00 (Savings of $30.00) Fall Sports Pass- $56.00 (Savings of $13.00) Winter Sports Pass-$51.00 (Savings of $10.00) Spring Sports Pass -$60 (Savings of $20.00 Passes are only valid at Yuma High home sporting games. Passes are not valid for Region or State tournament games. See the Athletic Office for more details or call 502-5036.
